NEW RELEASE: THE POWER OF SONG
ALL PROCEEDS FROM SALE OF SINGLE GO TO ST. VINCENT DE PAUL.
The choir have just completed a 4 track EP entitled “The Power of Song”, The title track is written by musical Director, Martyn Travis.

“The inspiration for the song came from one of our most valued members, Mark. The trials and tribulations that he has gone through and survived are astonishing. It is impossible not to be moved by Mark’s strength of character and so this song is written especially for him and the Waterford high Hopes Choir.” Martyn Travis
“The Choir is Safe Haven for me. I struggle with my mental health. Sometimes you can come in that door and if you feel depressed and if you don’t want to sing you can just sit down, if you want to sing you can. No one will judge you. The lads will encourage you. I’m working now. I have been clean seven and a half years. The choir has encouraged me not to give up. I have been homeless all over the country, in hostels and on the street, sticking needles in my arm. Where I am today, I am delighted with. Only for the choir. Music speaks when you are down. It’s like a natural high. There is always hope. Never give up. ”Mark Roche, Choir Member
